Day 1—October 18

Lima
Upon arrival into Lima International Airport, you will be met by an On The Go Tours representative and private driver, and will be transferred to your hotel. HOTEL: Tryp Miraflores Hotel, or Similar.

Day 2—October 19

Lima
Today includes a half-day Gastronomic Lima City tour with a private guide. Explore a local market in the San Isidro District and learn about the array of foods that merchants have on display. Continue to Lima downtown to take in the architecture and urban design of the city. Visit El Cordano bar, a choco- museum, and El Bolivariano Restaurante to savor a delicious typical Peruvian meal. Enjoy a welcome dinner tonight in Larcomar. (B, L, D) HOTEL: Tryp Miraflores Hotel, or Similar.

Day 3—October 20

Lima
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the quieter side of Lima, the picturesque district of Barranco, known as the bohemian heart of the city. Stop at the Larco Museum for an excellent overview of Peru’s ancient past, including the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in the country. (B,L) HOTEL: Tryp Miraflores Hotel, or Similar.

Day 4—October 21

Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley
Fly from Lima to Cusco. En route to the Sacred Valley, you will have the opportunity to visit Awanacancha, an Andean textile center whose key objective is to maintain the wealth of Incan textile art and keep their traditions alive. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. (B) HOTEL: La Casona de Yucay, or Similar.

Day 5—October 22

Sacred Valley
Today you will set off to Willoq, a native rural Quechua community located at 12,129 feet home to a group of families rich in cultural values, ideal for getting the feel of the live culture of ancient Peruvians. After a boxed lunch, we return to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to continue our visit to the Inca fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo. (B,L) HOTEL: La Casona de Yucay, or Similar.

Day 6—October 23

Sacred Valley
Today you will set off in the direction of the Sacred Valley to the town of Chinchero, an authentic Andean village with lots of character, where we will find the colonial church that houses a large collection of painting from the Cusqueñan School of Art. Next, continue your journey through the Sacred Valley to the salt fields of Maras and its seemingly neverending terraces, where salt extracted from springs is stored. Continue your excursion to admire the Moray terraces, believed to be a former gigantic agricultural laboratory, an astronomical observatory or a place of worship. Day 7—October 24

Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes
Morning transfer to the train station for an amazing train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, the great mountain-top city abandoned by the Inca Empire, reclaimed by the jungle and lost to humanity until its rediscovery in 1911. A guided tour of the Citadel includes the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. Day 8—October 25

Aguas Calientes, Cusco
Excellent opportunity to wake up early and enjoy a beautiful sunrise as well as stroll around the Town of Machu Picchu and visit their Hot Springs. Then, you will have time to perform some of the following activities: visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu for a second time, or for more active and adventurous people, we suggest to climb up the Huayna Picchu (additional cost required) from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being so high and distant. This afternoon return to Cusco by 360 train. (B) HOTEL: Casa Andina Premium Cusco, or Similar.

Day 9—October 26

Cusco
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city of Cusco, the Imperial City and archaeological capital of South America, where you will be able to admire the finest examples of Inca history and architecture. Tonight you’ll enjoy a culinary experience for dinner. With the aid of a local chef, you will create fusion gourmet dishes and enjoy the most spectacular views that the city has to offer. Day 10—October 27

Cusco, Lima
Your morning is at leisure for activities on your own. This afternoon you will fly from Cusco to Lima, then in the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at the restaurant Paprika. (B,D) HOTEL: Wyndham Costa del Sol Airport, or Similar.

Day 11— October 28

Lima
The On The Go Tours representative will meet and escort you to the Lima Airport to board your next flight. (B)
